Young, sexy, cute Malayalam (south Indian) actress, Bhavana was born on June 6, 1985 as Karthika in Trissur, Kerala. Bhavana is her screen name and her nick name is Kaathi. She is daughter of assistant cameraman Balachandra Menon and Pusha.Bhavana was a 11th class student when she got her break in films. Bhavana entered into film industry with the movie Nammal which was a big success and got her so much fame and honours. She has won the Kerala State's "Special Jury Award" for the year 2002 for her debut movie "Nammal".Bhavana acted with almost all popular heroes of Malayalam industy including popular Mohanlal,Mammootty,Suresh Gopi,Prithviraj,Jayaram,etc.Bhavana made her tollywood debut recently with Ontari opposite Tollywood actor Gopi Chand.Thus actress Bhavana cemented her place in South Indian films.Though she got so many offers form tamil and telugu, she refused simply because of her very tight shedule including the offer from popular Tollywood director Krishnavamsi. The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She won many honors and a Kerala State Special Jury Award for the film. Bhavana was an 11th standard student when she got her break in films. She has acted with almost all actors in Malayalam cinema. She has got many offers lined up in Tamil and did many projects with famous Tamil actors like Ajith Kumar, Madhavan, Jayam Ravi, Bharath, Jiiva and Srikanth. She has been doing glamorous roles since 2008In 2010, she starred in her first Kannada film alongside Puneeth Rajkumar acted in Jackie which was a blockbuster. Following the film's huge success, the film was dubbed into Telugu and Malayalam.Bhavana was said to star with Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming Bollywood film. Her second Kannada film Vishnuvardhana with Sudeep opened to a big response In 2012, Bhavana appeared in the Malayalam films Ozhimuri and Trivandrum Lodge. In 2013, Bhavana appeared in the Malayalam films Honey bee and Ezhamathe Varavu.She is the brand ambassador along with actress Mamta Mohandas for team Kerala Strikers for the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), captained by Mohanlal, who is also one of the owners of the team, and vice-captain Indrajith.
